And, before I ask, yes I've searched the forums, and yes I suck at scripting. I've been trying to make a sparkle script off and on for my entire SL life.  Does anyone have a copy of the free bling script that billy Madison was handing out a while back? Anyone who could drop me a copy of it? I'd like to see how my diamonds look with an occassionaly twinkle. Thanks

Talk to Purplestar Anubis. Tell him I send you. He can and will help. The Script itself is long, but not terribly hard to work with... I may actually have a freebie one. IM me and I'll look for it.

As much as I absolutely despise 'Bling' (let alone using it in a sentence, for that matter)... I have a disco ball that It'd probably be perfect for. If someone could drop the script on me, it'd be much appreciated! Btw - does 'bling' on its own reduce framerates? Or just the kind of framerate hit associated with particles in general? If it does - I'm probably better off without it.  |

I sent a copy of the script to you, Travis. I believe that excessive particles can decrease FPS, so judicious use of them is probably wise. However, they can be tweaked to produce a lower level of "bling." My friend Caroline Apollo, who makes jewelry, made me a very nice ring with her low-level bling script; it's quite subtle.
