Please join us for an evening of music and dancing marking the Second Life Community Convention Kick-Off Party and Charity Raffle to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. All of the SLCC event organizers will be at the party to talk about the convention and to answer any questions. Raffle tickets are L$250 each - No Limit - Buy as many as you want to increase your chances of winning some truly remarkable prizes. Googa Mooga! What an event! Thanks to all those involved in the organization and donation of prizes! WOOOOOW!

According to FlipperPA, we have raised over 400,000L so far ... I think we can make this amount higher and help people get back on their feet.

The tripling of the donations is awesome!

6pm to 9m game time is really NOT nice to europeans, that's about the worst possible hour: 3 to 6am CET. .

I am planning to come from Paris. Sorry to put it bluntly, but it doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Just wanted to clarify one of the raffle items. I don't think that Flip posted it here, but some notecards/flyers escaped before I caught a clerical error -- Linden Lab has donated two Second Life t-shirts and one silver pewter necklace. They are not going to be autographed (hence the clerical error)

Sorry for the confusion.

I would also like to mention we had a few more awesome prizes donated today as well.

I also wanted to clarify my prize offering - it is a Dance-Foo 15 person dance device from CrystalShard preloaded with my entire collection of dances - it contains 65 dance animations in it.
