I think I know what window sills were made for, cats to lie in and look out the window. Just seems that way as most the time when someone has a cat they usually are lying in a window sill.

Windowsills can also be used to rest my elbows on, with my chin in my hands as I stare out the window and ponder the true meaning of the Matrix.

Window sills were meant to cool pies.

A pretty potted geranium on the window sill.

I always wondered what was missing in my house! I have too many sliding doors, and only two window sills. No wonder my cat is an unhappy camper!!! Except when she goes out to catch birdies.

Now Sinatra that response begs two very important questions. 1, Isn't that cold, and 2 Which way do you face?

Thai,

1 - Isn't that cold?

answer: depends on the weather.

2 - Which way do you face?

answer: point whichever extremity contains the most mass outward, away from window.

hehe :-)

Wait a second, the PC police have determined your response is possible harrassment to avatars named "Sin" !! ;)

This calls for appropriate response - I will have satisfaction...

Custard pies (fresh off the window sill) at twenty paces...

Having grown up on a ranch, I was always taught that Window Sills were made for collecting dead flies. *shrugs*

hahah Ramon..... I don't really consider myself a farm girl, I am a city girl that just happened to have made a mistake of asking my daddy for a pony when I was 3! LOL and then spent the next 15 years of my life, cleaning pens, rounding up the cows that formed the stampede that passed by the house on an escape route in the middle of the night, perfecting the art of stacking meadow muffins, breaking horses (and letting them break me a bit too) and of course... collecting flies on Sills lol :) I bet we have plenty of stories to share. Oh yes andlets not forget cow tipping haha
