I am awestruck. I am overwhelmed. Darn it all, I'm the happiest girl in the whole U.S.A. And it's because of the WONDERFUL residents of Second Life that I am so very grateful.

Vamira Caldara (an SL resident and RL resident on New Orleans) along with her 13 year old daughter and 10 year old autistic son are presently en route from a crowded motel room in Mississippi to a temporary home in Indianapolis. Medication is already being obtained for Vampira's son. Clothing, sheets, towels and other necessities are arriving at the host's home from a church group ....... and thanks to all of you I will be able to hand over more than $500.00 U.S. to Vampira when she arrives in Indy tomorrow.

I want to thank every one who generously gave Pepper Curie and myself prizes to raffle off at our Event yesterday, all those who came out to it, EVERY ONE OF YOU who entrusted your Lindens to me to pass on to Vampira and a special thank you to Pepper Curie, Odil Lumiere, Bob Bravo, Makere Duck and Adam Davis for also raising funds at their own events over the weekend. Also a BIG thank you to TWISTER radio for holding a 24 hour radiothon for Vampira's family.

I spoke with Vampira on the phone last night and she was speechless. She did say she is looking forward to 'hogging' my computer so that she can thank every one herself :)

Sincerely,

Eos Zander

And here's a big thanks to Pepper and the other event planners, and to you Eos for doing the legwork to help Vampira and her family!
