Why are the servers only open 16:00 - 22:00 Pacific Time?
why cant you have the servers open 24/7...
i gota play 6-10 in the morning... else the time is wrong

What time zone are you in?? But next week, they are adding 3 more hours, so this means SL will be open for a total of 9 hours a day now...  J

personally the current hours fit well into my schedule. But thats mainly because im in PST, i usually dont get home till about 16:15 anyways. i really try not to go to long into afterhours during the week (makes it hard to stay awake). more hours are good for me still (when weekend comes im SL addict  )

i live on est time so it starts at 7:00 pm for me and i got to get off at around 10:00 so i wont be tired in the morning . so thats only 3 hours to play, and all u gamers know jsut how fast 3 hours can fly by...  .. 24/7 should work. they could set up a server like on rtcw and CS and Destruction and Dx and Bf1942 they could have the server runnign while they sleep. |

Next week it will open at 5:00 for you, so you can get in 5 hours.
When the game goes live it will be 24/7. For now it's still beta, still being tested, and still being worked on. Even when the client doesn't get updated sometimes the server does. And although stability has improved greatly, my guess is they aren't quite ready to leave them on their own for 16 hours.

so next week the beta is going to start 2 hours EARLIER? then i cant play any longer... i wake up around 7 and the beta closes around 9... |

It's 2 hours earlier, and 1 hour later. Remember, you can play as long as you want past closing, if you don't crash out or whatever...
