Yeah, I'm fine with Pathfinder handing out bitch smacks, even when I'm the target. I'm not a victim, I'm just someone who pushes the envelope. I post what I post to make the public aware of certain issues. They're all aware now. They know that if they want to protect their avatars' and their alts' privacy, if they want to avoid a tie-in between their RL info and their SL info, and avoid an outing of their alts or connection or alts to their main, they shouldn't go to third-party sites related to SL -- end of story. LL can't do anything for you, and you're thrown upon the tender mercies of those third-party sites. Lots of luck! Mission accomplished.  I'm sure Pathfinder and other Lindens will show the same excellent and qualified judgement and care in assessing other posts which appear to be based on personal conflicts, threads started just about one person, ec.

I as well appreciate Pathfinder's diligence in closing certain threads.
I would also like say, for the benefit of those out there who may not have read the entire 'Insanity' thread, that there is no supporting evidence of 3rd party sites collecting IP addresses and using them for any other reason that what is stated on their Privacy Policy.
The concerns that Prokofy raises are unfounded and have no supporting evidence and if you dare trudge through the dozens of pages of the Insanity thread, you'll find there was sufficient explanation by many members about this issue.
