I've never phoned in sick or changed RL plans for SL. I just sacrifice sleep instead!

Eek. Dude. I'll happily admit to sometimes being late to engagements IRL due to getting a little carried away with something in SL before now, and also to organising events in RL around timescales in SL and vice versa.... But bunking off just to get in-world is possibly a bit of a leap too far for the common good, personally. The lack of sleep thing, however I fully concur with Too many "Oh christ, it's 3am again!" moments have passed.

Sleep < SL Hehe, thats the only thing so far I've ditched. But then again not much goes on in my RL.

The only time I have actually put off anything for SL has been SLive shows. But since I consider those "extracurricular" I don't think of it as putting off RL for SL, but RL for SLive. The rest of my stuff I do when I wouldn't be doing anything RLishly anyhow (scripting class Sunday afternoons).
I generally have a rule that I don't turn down RL activities to play games, and I pretty much stick by it.

Since starting to play SL again I've ended up changing my sleeping habits so I could be with Sio in game. Beyond that I haven't, except in one or two instances, changed my RL plans for SL time. I am sure to make a 3rd of 4th in the near future though. What harmony my two lives in.

Sometimes I'll stay up late for SL, but that's it, pretty much. Lately my motto should be "Brain Eaten By RL", that's how often I've been inworld since the fall. :/

I have "crafted" RL plans not to interfere with important pre-scheduled events in SL. (As in "I can't go to the movies Friday because I have another commitment (the Engagement Party at the Gallery), but what about Saturday?) Does that count?

Are you kidding? Tonight I skipped going to the dry cleaner, buying a new coat, and household chores so I could work on pair of magic go-go boots. You think YOU'RE sad. My SL has taken over my RL. kk

Umm... RL? That's where you're "not" attached to a keyboard or other interface devices, right? Sorry, don't have one. I alternate between FL (family life), WL (work life) and SL (duh) - RL no got... =SV

I've changed plans to allow for SL time before. Gotta be done, I say! However, I started a new job on Monday, and I car-pool 3 other workmates on an hour-plus each-way trip, and I now have to get up at 8am instead of 10 or 11ish, so I'm having to get to bed much earlier... having three lives in my hands is something I take seriously enough to have... GASP.... ...altered my weekday SL time for FL! O...M...G! Never thought that would happen! Actually, This is starting to make me kinda unhappy, as it has really cut down my SL time with my fiancee Fallingwater.

Sleep I've put off, yes. RL other activities. Not really, except for if I was maybe planning on going shopping for something, or something that would only affect me if I did not do it, then yes, I have put off *some* things for SL. I don't really think that counts though. Oh. But I do spend a lot of time at work surfing the forums! hehe

I gave up potential fornication for an event once... not exactly the proudest moment in my life... but it's pretty up there :^D
