Anyone ever get to thinking that if we had enough processor speed, RAM, graphics card capabilities, and virtual reality equipment that actually worked, SL would be The Matrix...? I doubt I'm the only person who's been looking forward to a game like SL their entire life.
Really if we did have that virtual reality stuff going, this project borders on exactly what the transhumanism association is looking for.

Hey. My idea is some sort of red laser that you look into and your mind is copied over to the system(via FireWire, of course). Then you can do any animations you want, cause you ARE your Av. Would love to see a Linden reply on the likely-ness of this happening <G>

YES CHARLIE YES! Charlie has the idea, the holodeck!!! To me, the holodeck was, and still is, and will always be, the ULTIMATE invention by man. If every single person in the world had their own holodeck, there are SO many billions upon billions of possibilities at hand. My personal and pinacle belief is that utopia among humans can only occur through the invention of the holodeck. But that's just me  |
