A GMAC study of average driving tests by state shows the Democrats are sadly clueless about driving. :)

42. Connecticut -- 80.9
43. California -- 80.4
44. Maryland -- 79.8
44. Washington, D.C, -- 79.8
44. New York -- 79.8
47. New Jersey -- 78.3
48. Massachusetts -- 77.2
49. Rhode Island -- 77.0

Word.

And the correlations only implicate states. For all we know, the test takers could have been rightwingers, free-masons, or annunaki.

I see you left the top two states out... Oregon and Washington. Why is that? Weren't they Dem states? Oh, and #41, Florida... nice to cut the list off right before it gets to one that you like, huh?

Everyone knows old people can't drive, so maybe they just decided to leave it off because it would be the worst by default.

This study is obviously skewed.

It fails to mention Lake Charles, Louisiana, home to the densest population of amazingly bad drivers in the Western Hemisphere. I think it's even in their tourism brochure.

You can't just fail a standard driving test to live in Lake Charles. You have to go beyond mere technique to show some kind of genuine gift for Stupid Car Tricks.

Funny. I wonder what they test would be like in Miami proper.

My personal belief is Darwin sells Driver Licenses.

I think that number is a bit off, as demonstrated by this breakdown from the 2004 Presidential election: Breakdown by county

CA is predominantly Republican in inland areas such as the Central Valley, Sierra Foothills and the far northern part of the state. The coastal areas and the major metro areas are more Democratic and hold most of the states population.

But, if you have a link for that 3 county deal - I'd be interested in reading it.

<-------- Switching between Air America, Rush, NPR and Dr. Laura. The focus keeps me from having a fit of road rage and killing the 80 year old drugged up asshat in front of me going 25 miles an hour under the speed limit in the left lane, who finally DOES speed up just as I try and pass him. :o

Why do they do that?????

When I turn 80 I'm going to buy a hot little sports car, get in the left land and haul ass! :p

Its because our minds are being raped constantly by everything that comes out of the presidents mouth, thus not allowing us to concentrate.

Nice one Juro, I was going to post a similar kind of thingy.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm

Notice the 2000 and 2004 results in Cali are almost indentical... I think 3 is an understatement.

But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

That map certainly gives the appearance that CA should have been a 'red' state just by the saturation of the color, but if you take the populations of the blue counties (based off the '99 Census figures), those 21 counties hold 18,765,012 out of the 33,145,121 people living in the state. Just 6 of those 21 counties have a combined population over 14.5 million residents.
