So.. ya.. I had something else to say but what was it? Oh ya!! I noticed that in the articles about Second Life all compare it to The Sims Online (which I played in beta and quit since it was so boring), but none of these articles compare Second Life to this other "game" thats almost exactly like it. It's a game where you build stuff in-game and can add scripts to make things move, etc, and you can add textures over things, walk around, and fly! Of course, it's much less customizable (the avatars are basically pre-set and to build you have to use premade objects), but it's still a pretty fun game, but nowhere near as good as Second Life. This game is called ActiveWorlds, and I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of it. It's free with some limited priveledges, otherwise I think it's $7 a month or so. I wonder if Second Life got any ideas from that game? I'd definately prefer to play Second Life, but if the $15 a month is just too much for me I'm thinking about just playing that... anyway, just thought I'd tell everyone about this game since it's so similar to Second Life. I'll see you all in-game sometime!
