Apoligy

I'd like to apoligize to the people who had to go through the releasing of my anger in SL. I try my best not to involve my RL in SL but it seems to slip in and turn me into the raging monster I am in RL. I'd especially like to apoligize to Tcoz Bach and I'd like it if we could be friends again but if no I'll keep my distance

well i'm not tcoz, and i don't know what happened, when or where (and no one needs to know except you and tcoz), but i for one am glad to see someone apologizing for their actions. all too often, i see people acting like arschlochen, but seldom do they apologize.

imho, a sincere apology, as well as a willingness to respect someone's wishes, is a sign of great maturity, and is unfortunately lacking in many participants of online communities

Wow thank you for saying that. It means a lot to me to know that some people think I am being mature about the situation

I guess i'm lucky, barring the outlands I've yet to meet anyone that acted in a way to tick me off deliberately. I guess i can't help myself, but you Raged? At Tcoz? He's always seemed to be a amicable and helpful guy...but anyway, a sincere and public apology is brave of you. You don't see that too often. Wish you luck in resolving it.

Thanks for your support I think we were all mad when this happened because I know I was not acting like myself. Wasn't something directed at Tcoz but it happened and Tcoz got really mad.

Awright no worries. I was trying to build a pool table, and the exploding smokebombs that actually say "lag away", the random music shots, jumping on the pool table and kicking the physical objects all over, and checking all the items so you could see if the security was botched so you could copy the object over and over in the work area...well, nuff said. Out came the darker powers of LSL.

Consider it forgotten.

Just so you know, most of the WW2OLers in Jessie don't wish to cause the rest of you guys much trouble, and we don't quite appreciate what the trouble-makers are doing to our already-damaged image.

Some of us are a slightly rude bunch by nature, but only a few (the younger ones, probably) are deliberately trying to cause trouble.

That reminds me of something I saw in-game yesterday. I'm not sure who owns it, but there's a bunker quite a bit of distance away from Bessie. The bunker has spinning turret guns and some annoying repeating PING sound (think sonar).
Whoever owns the place directly adjacent to this bunker put a huge billboard up facing the bunker, saying something along the lines of "The pinging sound is too loud and annoying - please lower it to something close to .4 or .6"

That got a giggle out of me.


Anyway.. Ask Ethereal Bright Brightwillow about us. Only a couple people have caused her trouble (one in particular isn't even a WW2OLer or resident in Jessie), so she'd confirm that we're not too bad..

Not sure what that has to do with this... Anyways that was kind of funny. I saw it cause I was visiting a friend of mine in the WWIIOLers. It is his bunker and I could tell you who it is but I wouldn't want to give his name away so nobody is mad at him for it cause I am sure it was an accident. If it's you person I am talking about, I'll tell you. But you know so I have to say: TURN IT DOWN!!! lol.

And from what I've gathered, the outlands were pretty peaceful until we arrived, so I can only assume the reference is to us.. Maybe I'm wrong.

Not really no. It's the only place I've been repetively 'aggressed' for apparently no reason and i would assume with the intent to bug me. BUT however that's a risk i take going there and i'm not trying to blame any particular group for it. Otherwise i'm just generally speaking that if someone were to vent in the game, the outlands would be one obvious place to start.
