Forums need to be set to local time

honestly, it confusing as fire to ahve them 7 HOURS ahead of me. this is a vbulltien syste, as an admin at another VB web cmmunity, I KNOW it can convert times to local for everyone wihtout a huge performence hit, which woiuld make keeping trackof thingseasier for all......

Erm....go to User CP -> Edit Options, scroll down and you'll find the option there.

Thanks for asking this question, and thanks to Moopf for answering in a clear and easy to understand way.

It took me forever to realize that I could control that ... that there were even options for me to set.

"User CP" isn't exactly a clear label. Im sure Im not the only one that never noticed it, let alone realized it really mean "forum preferences."

I would have likely never figured it out if I hadn't seen someone asking a similar question.

So, its great that someone once in a while asks a question that many assume "everyone knows" ... 'caure there are generaly tons that /don't/. Im sure that today you werent the only one that got helped with this simple bit of information.

The only stupid question is the one not asked. That said, I agree, the User CP isn't clearly labelled and I wouldn't have known about it if I wasn't an avid button pusher. (Big red buttons that say "Don't push" are the first things I push) I assumed it had something to do with me being able to push something.. Wasn't sure what.. Oh, I'm babbling again.
