The question pose here is what do men want in clothing? I have seen several suits that were very nice but unappealing for a day to day wear and then the T-shirts...belive me I know I made enough of them at first. But even though I am a man each of us have different tastes. Some want to be bummy some want to be fancy but what of those of us that ain't Yuppies or punk rockers or just clean cut businessmen. For that I pose the question Guys what do you want to see in clothes cept none on the women.. I have started a line of action wear for men at the moment but still I want yalls opinions of what you want to see in Men's clothes. If you can help me out with a link to a site that showes what your looking for or email me a sketch at Shadowweaver2003sl@yahoo.com I can see what I can whip up for ya. Ama mentioned something about shoes. To me shoes are a very personal thing more so than pants n shirts. SO those will be a per your request basis only. Sincerely, Shadow Weaver. Let's see:
Bermuda shorts
khakis
casual work clothes (slacks, button-down shirts, and golf shirts)
A variety of suits (double-breasted, two-button, three-button, waistcoats, etc.) and a variety of shirt/tie combinations
trench coats
"Letter" jackets, modifiable to add our custom letter/mascot/logo (felt jacket w/ leather sleeves, traditionally)
cowboy boots, hiking boots
A variety of leather and suede jackets
fedoras, cowboy hats, chef's hats, baseball caps (mod-able)
Personally, I'm not a sweater type, but I'm sure some people are.

Although not my style it seams some 'skater' clothes might be popular. I would like some polo shirts, short sleeved patterned button up shirts, khahki shorts. tevas? or these are comfortable

18 hole Doc Martens would be awesome. Laced and unlaced. And Cat, I'm following your line of thought and smiling away.:

Not to hijack Shadow's thread (as I think there shouldn't really be that much competition between designers, but rather, cooperation. It's a huge market, and right now men's clothing really isn't being catered to. Everyone has different tastes. Not every guy will like my stuff, and if every guy bought from the same place, they'd all look the same!) Right now I'm working on button-down shirts, golf shirts, khakis, and a lot of skater-type clothes that are unisex. There's a few already at my shop. So I really don't hijack Shadow's thread, I won't post the coordinates here and just say to check another thread However, most of my stuff with be focused on 'skater' type clothes and blue jeans. I'm glad to know I'm on the right track. Poor guys. Many things for women, hardly anything for men!

Would like to see some metal TEES and maybe some biker clothes. Motorcycle boots, and the all around goth look. I guess, suits are ok too but would rather see some metal stuff more.

Okay, i've seen alot of stuff like chinos, jeans, board shorts, button downs and stuff for guys...i know some guys who would also like to see the goth style, alternative clothing, maybe some reneissance..i'm sure that's spelled wrong lol. I see so many cool looking male avs on the edgy side...i'd like to see the clothing match up Oh and shadow if your gonna do fedoras or cowboy hats..make sure they don't have a tiny top cause there aren't a whole lot of tiny heads and people just wind up looking ummm dorky lol. Even if you can stretch them the whole hat just gets bigger so that doesn't work. Sorry i went off on a tangent its just something i've noticed lately lol. OH yeah and Car mentioned Docs..i'm not a guy but damn i'd love to have some docs

Shadow, I was looking for some uniform (non cammo) type clothing, some jodhpurs, riding boots and a selection of solid colour polos without any branding on them. Some Bean boots and green Wellies would be nice too. Maybe a pith helmet, too, lol. From: someone Originally posted by Shadow Weaver The question pose here is what do men want in clothing?
