Alright, I know it's a few months off, but I'm dying to know...
what will the new physics engine (Havok 2.x) do for me, the regular Joe Physics?
Looking at the HL2 engine, it looks like it's basically just more colllision detection and ragdoll physics... considering we dont' have ragdoll physics in SL and don't need it, sounds like we're just going to be able to crash smaller blocks together.
What, theoretically, would be possible in 2.0 that isn't in 1.0?

It won't cause as much stress on servers. You will be able to actually create physical cars, and the sims won't lag or crash.

I hope we go ragdoll when we fall too far from the sky... I'd do it even MORE often than I already do. Hehe... *amused by his own thoughts*

I think its just a huge performace boost, which will allow them to add features that would otherwise be nasty - like a rain onf 3000 cut hallow tori.
