Boo I made a black leather jacket some time ago. Its one of my more popular items and now Lindens made one for a free giveaway? BOO. Its bad enough I make stuff and dont get paid because there are no protections. Did I say BOO? BOO!

I wouldn't worry to much Mis. I tried to download some of the wood textures and all I get is a page with the "Quicktime" logo and my IE freezes up. So, I tried a couple others, and same thing.
I think your safe for awhile.....

frankly it seems silly to me to have free textures on the web page. That means whoever wants em needs to down(up?) load them to SL. Hardly free.
If it were really free they'd be available in world.
Hmm (wondering outloud) if I lower the price of mine will it be worth it not to have to download the "free" file then upload to SL at a fee of $10?

You CAN change the save as type if you have PSP (not sure about the others, but I was able to just fine with said program).. and MJ, it's their game, their perogatives. Just because they put out textures doesn't stop you from doing something bigger and better.
