In-sim Linden response - great!

We had a trio of griefers visit Luskwood this evening (no names named  - they were pushing people about and verbally harassing folks - generally agressive/intimidating/unacceptable behavior. They were 'new' residents (having a same day of creation as the incident I'm describing), and all having the same last name - pretty coordinated for griefers (IME)... and they were even daring folks to report them. Well, we _did_ report them - but (having read abuse reporing recommendations in these forume I also did a 'Find' on Lindens on the spot, and sent an IM to the first Linden appearing on the list (go "Adam Linden", woot!). The Linden response was both immediate and courteous - and the three interlopers soon departed our area, although not without some bravado directed at the Luskwood residents on their way out... Appropriately (IMO) we had no direct feedback from any Linden as to what measures were taken - but it was pretty apparant from the griefer's behavior on their departure that they'd been routed from the area by the authorities... My reason for this post? As a newcomer to SL, I was impressed with the availability, responsiveness and professionalism of the staff - so... kudos! <tips his hat, and his glass, to the Lindens> - Tengu Yamabushi |

I've never had anything but good responses when contacting a Linden for assistance. From what I've seen, they're a great group of folks.

The Lindens do a great, under the pressure and conditions. I don`t know how they do it but gesh really know to deal with problems as the occure. Hats off to you lindens

Now that they have free basic accounts, it would be asking for trouble not to implement this. I've never had a problem inworld finding a Linden to help, although my problems usually revolve around buggy prims that we like to stand around and curse at.
