Not sure if anyone has posted a link to this article yet as it is a few days old.

It's detailing a discussion surrounding the issue of in world dispute resolution, both pro and con.

I would be for such a system, but not if it was administered by fellow players, which is the sticking point because if LL administers it we will undoubtedly have those who cry favoritism. Personally I think that is a less of a risk than having other players who tend to be clique-ish render such decisions.

Nice read. Thanks for the heads up dude!

I have a simple in world player resolution.

If you cant get along move to far corners of SL.

If its over a texture/build/anything that LL can adminster as who did what first. Let them continue to be arbitures.

If it petty drama GTFU

If its a TOS Violation....again Let LL Handle it.

Letting other players arbitrate any disputes ends up in a he said she said we will never friggen win situation and looses good players due to the grief therein.

Did anyone ever set up a dispute resolution system? Does one exist in world?

"User-created content takes the idea of leveraging player opinions a step further by allowing them to effectively prototype new ideas and features. Developers can then measure which new concepts most improve the products and incorporate them into the game in future patches."
