Electing a New Governorship

Hello,

My name is De Ro Underhill and I would like to serve you, the fine people of Linden Island as your "Real" Governor. Have you ever met Governor Linden? Does this "fictional character" care about your needs? Why not vote for a real person, who will hear your concerns and grant mercy and justice.
This is not a joke, the time has come for true leadership as Taxes, Lag, and Welfare plague our formerly happy world.

I have a dream that each Sim would have its own Representative!
I have a dream that Lag would be reduced to 1990 levels!!
I have a dream that the "little guy" would have the same rights as the "big guy"!!!
I have a dream... And what a beautiful dream it is!!!!

You may ask how this may come about? By your hard earned votes for me, De Ro Underhill. While the election are some ways off in the undecided future, other candidates will arise claiming falsehoods and impossible promises. Remember that De Ro Underhill is your Hobbit for your Habit!!

As a repected person of this Second Life that fact that I am a Hobbit has not hindered my relationships nor to bring about the changes that you and I know must be brought to our lands and our homes.
Secondly, I raise my own crops and none of yours will ever be in danger. Shmee's claims are unfounded, mostly.
Thirdly, by 1990 standards I mean an idea more than the reality. In 1990 there was no Second Life, therefore no lag, it is to this idea that I was refering to. The dream that there would be no lag.
Finally I say to you, No NEW LAG!

As you can all see from my posters in game that I am a Libertarian, and as a Libertarian taxes are the furthest thing from my mind.

However as you can see from De Ro's posters, he is a Bull/Moose man, witch means all he cares about is killing wild life!!

even though second life has very little wild life as of yet that is all the more reason that we sould keep what we have. (except charlie omaga's slimes they can go. ) no offence charlie.

While my oppenent, and much of the community, would want you to believe that I am a munchin, sly underhanded, crop eating, baby stealing, world destoying, buck toothed yookel, deviod of any humanity (or Hobbitality...?).
Non the less I do want to represent you and the next generation of Second Lifers for my term as Governor. Why must the dreams of small, timid, Hobbit be shattered by bullies and those who would stand against the continued dream of a perfect new Second Life.
I again state that I am for less Lag, Representation for Each Sim (creating a Congress of sorts to aid in the fine tuning of our own communities), Pro-Baby Legislature, and a firm study of the taxes as they stand now.
My oppenent is not for your rights as citizens but for the creation of his own dictatorship, its true just ask him. So allow the Bull/Moose Party, which does not stand for animal cruelty, but stands for Nobility and Strength and the Second Life Way.

De Ro Underhill - Candidate Governor

If you see a slime with my name on it by all means.....DELETE it!!

It was a product of an experiment went wrond/right. Take your pick. I have all mine set to delete able. But also it does have a script in it so for those who want to play with scripts you can put it out of the slimes. It is a neat little, well not so little script. Could help someone learn the basics. But anyway for the new people that want to learn scripting consider it a treasure hunt. I wont give any slimes out you have to find em so as to rid the world of them. BUT take NOTE not all of them are MINE!!! There are some that someone set as not deleteable. If I can get ahold of a scripted object that accuratly seeks out lost objects, these will then be gone along with the probably ton of objects that I am paying taxes on.

im sorry if i hurt your feelings with the joke about the slimes. it was only becaues one day i got in game and there were like four on my property. howver, your right the scripts were kinda neat. (i wish i had kept one )

Since I have married a hobbit, I must tell you that my husband misses his earthen dwellings. Currently, he is unable to build the subterranean cozy life he so longs for. What will you do to help those misplaced hobbits in this terrestrially influenced world? Will we ever have access to the world below?

Dear concerned voter,

As your husband well knows it takes great work to build below the fertile ground of Linden Island. As Governor I would seek to improve upon the terrain editing tools to aid in the difficult building of a Hobbit hole. For now I would suggest viewing my home in Perry and Cole Armstrong's home in Tehoma I believe near Charlie Omega's place. They are fine examples of underground dwellings using the current system. Until I am made governor though, or the Linden's seek to aid this troubled minority we may never recieve the tools needed to return to your quaint, dry holes under the earth.

By the way, where do you get the ground textures to cover your hobbit hole please? It's not in our basic texture pool.... or is it?
