OK, so this group of kids ages 15-16 in Florida got drunk and have the following bright idea:
Let's go swim in the river with the alligators!
And they do. One kid gets eaten (not for food mind you, but in defence) by one of the 5 alligators there. The authorities come and survey the situation, then drag all the 5 aligators out of the river, and shoot them all not knowing which one killed the kid. The alligators didn't do anything wrong! They were defending their alligator to these big, scary possible invaders. Now members of this formerly endangered species gets killed for a group of kid's stupidity? The kids have been drinking for pete's sake! Anyhow I felt like sharing.

Yeah, every day I see this world expecting less and less from the people, we never have to have responsibility for our own actions. These kids made the wrong decisions and paid for it, but no it was decided something else had to pay.. so they killed the gators.
You know that if someone breaks into your house to rob or kill you and their is a hazard (lets say a staircase missing a railing) and they fall, they can sue you?
I'm taking a bus. law class and when we looked at torts i was amazed at all the things people sued for and won.
I say that we need to start making people responsible for their own actions. These kids messed up end of story, don't go kill animals just doing what they naturally do.
(and i'm not even an animal rights activist for petes sake, this is just common sense come on!)
