well I have decided to tell everyone about the games I have moved to. The first one is called Dark Age Of Camelot: http://www.darkageofcamelot.com if anyone was interested in seeing and http://www.starwarsgalaxies.com Both of those sites tells about those games.

You will be sadly disappointed by SWG. I was in the final public beta and it was fun for about a week and a half and then got extremely boring.

There are only so many times you can go out and explore the wilderness dodging the creatures out there so you don't get ripped apart and then beating up on mercenary camps. The only thing cool about it is that it's Star Wars.

Just my opinion though, your milage may vary.

I thought I'd share my opinion about SWG

Most of it's pretty cool since there are a lot of job opprotunities and ways to be unique and stuff and that's pretty cool. I agree fighting can get old sometimes so that's why I am exploring different parts of game.

Also, if you want to look me up, my name is Aronu Nator or something.

I hate Star Wars Galaxies.

Why?

I officially have no friends because of it. Because they are all hooked on it and when I IM them they never reply because they're too busy playing SWG. I've played the game, I don't like it, takes too long to do everything except die.

We had a LAN party and it SUCKED because everybody except ME was playing SWG. Worst LAN EVAR.

Swg is great

i like it, i made an artisan guy and it's actually really fun. Maybe sitting around for hours mining for ore or gases and chemicals sounds boring to most, but the things you can make are cool. I have been attacked twice in the who;e time I been playing and I easily escaped by burst running. Don't care for fighting myself but at least you can actually avoid being hit. My guy can make fireworks too, and they actually look like real fireworks. There is so much to do in this game is why it amazes me. Same as Dark Age Of Camelot, lots of places to see and things to do, missions and quests. I chose the following server Valcyn and starting planet was Correlia. starting city was Tyrena.

I wonder what the heck happened to this guy that made him want to rub it in our faces about all the other crappy games out there that cant begin to compare to SL.
If you are with the 90% TV-watching people that go through their entire lives without improving the world in any way, you might want to have your fun handed out to you in a silver platter. On the other hand, if you have more than half a brain, you might want to create your own entertainment and share it with others.
To each his own. I cant see myself getting tired of SL. I have enough ideas to keep the bulk of the population busy for a looong time - some of them are no where near feasible with the current server resources, and some that im working on just about stretch them to their limits. But other games are insanely more limited than this one. You can do anything with LSL. It's amazing.
You're talking to someone who as a kid had to spend weeks coding an entire graphics library in assembly, and never really understood how to do 3D graphics. After finishing the bloody graphics library i got bored and never really did the actual game =)
I get here and i can make a cube with two or three mouse clicks, and have it rotating by dragging a script onto it. I never really figured out how to make things move around when I was fiddling with 3D design programs a few years ago.
I can't wait for the new version, it will be a dream.

Well, Star Wars Galaxies has awfully well thought out character naming and community standards policies, and I really like the support that Dark Age of Camelot offers to European players, but neither of them would suit me a bit, I'm afraid. All I can say is Good Luck.
