What's with the "I hate the Lindens/I hate SL" message? It's one thing to voice a concern or complaint related to an individual circumstance, but the incessant negative anti-linden, anti-SL player, anti-SL drumbeat that we hear from some is disgusting. Critical people usually have a low opinion of themselves, or think too highly of themselves, and lack a sense of reality about who they really are. Critical people rarely compliment others on their efforts, but pass judgment and give uninvited advice. My question for you, if you are so unhappy with SL and LL, why not spare us your incessant whining and complaints, and if it's so bad, LEAVE! NOW! ty jess  |

Now I just hide in my "philosophical bomb shelter" and ignore the raging masses in hopes that they'll eventually just leave. LL is doing a fine job. SL runs just fine. I don't think I've ever played any game or been involved in any online world (except maybe BBSs if they count as worlds) for as long as I have been involved with SL. I also don't see myself leaving SL... ever... and am doing projects in SL that I hope will bolster the profile and creative potential of it. SL is great!

If SL makes you so mad you feel the need to rant rave and post 47 forum messages about how much they suck, I think it's time to sell all your stuff cut your losses and move on. Don't torture the rest of the community with your bad attitute. Don't say you're leaving then come back and start bitching again within a month. Go find your happy place or something cause if a game makes you this miserable and cranky you have some serious issues, and the forum is not the place to air them.

Really Redundant Loop  Whenever I think about the problems on here, I flip for the news: I read about all the murders, rapes, and child abuse happening. I become more aware of families who have lost loved ones to the recent tsunami, the genocide still going on in some parts of the planet, and a lot of torture, pain, and suffering. I learn about orphans who have been abandoned, animals experiencing human cruelty, and humans experiencing human cruelty. Then, I go to sites like Rotten.com and Ogrish.com ... That puts everything in perspective for me of how petty some troubles really are. In our lifetimes, there is more than enough hurt. Shouldn't we focus on healing? *sighs softly*
