I happen to swoop by Olive and it is now a big crater. I do like the idea because it does help prevent debris from falling into neighboring sims. But then again, will those extra boundaries inhibit cool experimentation some of us have grown to love? There goes one of my dreams of making a super huge something something that takes up the entire sim. In another note there are some who say, 'Well, what do those whiners expect living right next door to Olive? Of course there will be debris. Why should I should I be denied the beautiful scenery of neighboring sims?'

Personally, I am one of those who neighbors Olive and I think the change is great.

Just wanted some thoughts/comments.

Wow you serious? A big crater?
Is it underwater? You know the water level in Rose is about .5 below ground level :p

nope, no water, the boundries of Olive are the same height as it used to be, the crater is just cut into it.

But it could be nice for the crater to extend all the way to the borders, but its a nice improvement. :-)

My giant working swings actually stay contained when they blowup :-))

Hmm, Ironchef. Why exactly where you looking at Hiro's huge spheres? Did he KNOW you were looking? Or did you just sneak a peek?

I live next to olive and have for a while now. I do not mind the expirements and I expected some incidents involved with living next to it. I knew it was there when I moved in

I SAID I WAS SORRY!!!! Anyone seen any catapult arms? I'm still missing one or two :)

Seriously Olive has become one of my favorite sims, its always a joy to see what new strangeness is floating around :)

I also live on the edge of Olive... very much on purpose. It's nice to hop across sim lines between my home and my work area.

Plus I relish the occasional chaos. Me and my neighbor have contemplated building a giant basketball hoop aimed Olive's way.

Or make a giant bounce board so it throws the stuff back into and at the people like me in Olive :-P

The ability to buy land in Olive was a mistake on Linden's part and has been rectified.

I'm guessing Darwin really drove his parents nuts when he was a kid - probably still does...

I think pitted Olives are better.

Personally I love the new Olive.

Let me give you a brief reason behind why this had to be done.

It wasn't because of the "occasional" item that came flying out of Olive, instead, it was a few, and I won't name them here, who chose to be disruptive by constantly Tower Tipping, Rocket Launching, and Fireworks Launching into other SIMS.

If you don't like how Olive is now setup, I fear it's NOT the fault of the residents that are next to Olive, it's the fault of the people in Olive who chose to not be considerate of others; and I'm sure you Olive people know exactly who those people are.
