since not many people visit the tech issues forum im going to repost here in hopes that i am able to get on.
Login in Error unable to report using in game bug report *Please help!*
It is 5:55 PST on 4-20 lol *takes a drink* and i am reciving an error on log in where the tast bar gets stuck on "verifiying protocal version..." It hangs there for about 45 seconds till it lanches a pop-up saying somthing to the effect. "unable to conect to server..." And i click ok, tried with firewall off going to try a reinstall se if that clears it up. There is noting I was able to find on the forums and therefore i post

did a uninstall using contoll pannel cold start then reinsall resart then bang same thing i may try 1.6. this game is crack....i just wana play!
p.s. you can use that for marketing !

tried both ver 6.0 and 6.1 doing uninstalls and rebooting. power cycled my net work including router and modem. I can only assume the sims are all full or that jessie where i live and spawn into is packed?
So this is where Im at last night i ended up going to sleep But im going to try again tonight

Gearbomb....I'd moved the ToT bunker to yall's area....but after I built it...I couldn't get to it 90% of the time, damn server was always full.
I agree that might be part of your problem, once you do manage to get ingame I'd suggest marking your home location elsewhere and go through the trouble of flying to Jessie once in...its better than not getting in at all.

thanks for the idea, i hear though that if the serever is full it will spawn you in at a random point elsewhere.

ok i just installed it on my other computer on my network
it was able to get past the "verifying protocall version.." it crashed eventally though cause its a dinosar. So i Must assume that it is something with my machine. It keeps getting stuck at the "verifying protocall version..." please help im going threw withdraw!

ok i fixed the problem. I started back from the begining so i turned on my firewall to dig around in it. looks like the ip for the game was bieng blocked by my computer. even though i had been turning off my firewall windows must of had the number and blocked it to. So i changed my firewall to love the game ip#
