Is it just me or does anyone else find that when they have a nice large block of time to spend in world that they cannot because, because the world isn't there yet. How I do wish that they would leave things up all weekend! That would be very helpful for me. Oh sure I could spend the time making textures and what not but it's hard to when you want to be able to see them in game right away. I loose steam to do things outside of the game if I cannot right away go and see the results in the game. GRRRRR!!!

I just obsessively refresh the forums, and post my rants and opinions and off topic jokes.

Yup yup! I'm trying to make clothing right now, and it's Not Easy. I'm wishing for some kind of stand-alone "av-mannequin" on our systems that we could dress up in these textures with the clothing sliders so I'd know if I was on the right track, whether the seams lined up correctly, etc. I don't want to take time out of the 6 hour allotment to go back into PSP after I've uploaded and tried on the new clothes... so I end up waiting til the next day, at which point I've slept, so I can't remember exactly where I needed to make adjustments. If we had more than 6 hours a day, I wouldn't mind losing some in world time so much.
Ah well.. someday they'll give us more time, and like little puppies we'll lick their faces and pee on their shoes in our excitement =)

I think I know why......

The Linden's want one of their own in the welcome area to help with the new people, and right now they can't have someone online 24/7. That's kool and the way it should be.
However, it appears that the servers don't get turned off cuz we can stay in world after closing time. So why not make a separate entrance for people that have been in world for awhile. I'm not a programmer, but I don't see where this would be all that difficult. I realize we would be on our own without support during "off hours", and the server we are trying to log on to may be down for whatever reason, but at least it would be an option. PLUS, it would give us our fix !!!

Yup, I typically stay on the servers until 4am or 5am most nights.
I relog right before 10pm, and then hope and pray and fear and fret about crashing out. Seems unecessary. I look forward to them extending the hours.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. For 6 hours a day, people less than a week old should be allowed in. Once they get passed a week, they are allowed in 24/7, but, no Lindens to help them. Also, the whole face/shoe thing is quite disturbing Save it for Bel's <G>
