I noticed from another thread that we have many riders who play SL. Thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone rides.

Although I have many bikes in pieces in my garage, I primarily ride my Buell X1 lightning. Also can be seen on my 1982 Shovel Head.

Also own a
1989 Ninja
1983 Yamaha Maxim
1969 Triumph (well the frame at least) :)

Nice Sean, another Buell rider!

One of the guys I ride with on weekends has a XB9R. He just did some air box modification.....as if he COULDNT go fast enough before. The thing really is a suicide machine now.

My husband just bought a bike. After years of wanting one, I finally made a deal with him. I made him get a buttload of Life Insurance, and now he can have his bike. LOL... Seriously, if anything were to happen to him, it would be a really rough life for my daughter and I. And it isn't him that I'm worried about as far as how well he will ride and be careful. It's other nuts on the road that scare me.

Anyway, his bike is a something Ninja R500 or something like that. And I'm glad he finally got something he's really wanted for a long time. :)

Call me a troll or something but I think motorcycles are corpse factories. I rode one once. I have to admit that it was pretty exciting but jesus I dont want to think about what would happen to me if I fell or banged into something.

A friend of mine is in her final year training to be a doctor in London. She was telling me rather a gruesome story last week about a patient who was waiting for a suitable organ to become available for transplant.

Time was critical in this instance, and the medical staff were becoming more concerned. Then the consultant marched in and said, "You're in luck, it's started raining and the roads are getting slippery."

I've stopped riding my bicycle to college when it even looks vaguely overcast now.

(ooh, Fey, we have the same number of posts! You forum troll :D hehe)

My ride...

I ride an '02 Ducati 998. In fact interestingly enough... within 15 minutes of my first foray into SL, I found that someone had modeled, very nicely I might add, my very bike! I was instantly sold that this experience was going to be cool ;)

Here's a pic of my ride... it'll load sssslllooowww... off of my roadrunner acct ;)

If anyone has an interest in riding...here is a great way to get started....and BE SAFE in the process.

Training WILL reduce your risk while on a bike by giving you the tools....bottom line. Plus it makes getting your license 10x easier..^_^

I'm riding a 2004 BMW K1200GT in Gray/Green livery, having traded this year from a 2001 Honda 1800 VTX.

What a difference! I've always ridden cruisers. This is so much more fun in the corners :)

'95 Yamaha Seca II

Great first city bike as the tank dents, taped fairing, and nail poked tires will testify.

Sean, Thanks for the CMSP link! I've always wanted to get a bike but never knew where to go to learn how to ride one. Since I'm based in SoCal this is perfect!

Thanks again!
