A hatelisting is a listing of people who have a hate or great dislike of or for the same thing/person/place etc. In this case, the hatelisting is for Katie Leung, the soon-to-be actress who will portray Cho Chang in the upcoming Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and possibly in Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix.

Why a hatelisting for Katie?

Maybe hate is too strong of a word, but I dislike Katie Leung. I obviously don't know her so I can't judge her on her personality, but here are just a few reasons why I don't like her.

-she doesn't match at all what Cho Chang should look like, in my opinion.

-she's going to be playing a role that most would kill for.

-she doesn't look very friendly, but of course, she could be very nice and we'll never know for sure.

-she gets the chance to meet some people that most of us would just die to meet, and she gets the oppurtunity of a lifetime. who wouldn't be jealous of that?

This is just how I feel, and if you feel the same way, or just dislike Katie then read the rules and join the listing.


What the hell is the dealie-o with this girl? So Katie Leung doesn't look like how this girl imagined Cho in the books (from the sound of it, she probably imagined Cho to look like herself), she is pissed that she's not playing Cho in the movie, and Katie gets to hang out with the likes of Alan Rickman and Daniel Radcliffe. Damn. I hate to see who she finds the word "hate" strong enough for.

Snape is mine - hands off. Only I prefer Alan Rickman in something where he doesn't look greasy and evil.

For a "hatelisting", that site is pretty beautifully set up in honor of Katie. After all "hate" without an "h" is "ate", so that might as well be an "atelisting". (Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either.) Huzzah! :)
