I had to start this, as I am so surprised to find out actual ages of people. Some act and show an age that is much different than their actuall age. Some have surprised me, mainly because most of the people here have imo acted wise beyond their actual years. As I am told or find out they are actually younger I am truly wowed into a deep respect for those who actually act mature in here. But of course some do act a bit less then their years . Either by playing and havin fun, or by just plainly acting out.. So if you dare post your guesses, actual ages, or just post saying your open to people guessing your age. PLEASE w8 to publicly guess someones age till they post here saying its ok. Someone could really get offended But for starters, If you don't know my age go ahead and guess!!!

Charlie, I guess you in late 20's or early 30's. I'd say guess my age but then I've told a few people who were VERY surprised. So go ahead if I have NOT told you. If you know, let 'em guess!

Mine is also a prime number, and any one who wishes may guess. Although I'm not sure its fair because I have told people in chat before my real age. So if you already know, don't guess! I put charlie around 26 or 27.

Charlie, you should hold an event based off of this. I think it would be well attanded, most people love the chance to find things out about one another over the net. We love to chance to cheat the annonymity. I really hope that is how it is spelled.

Age and Second Life privacy
04-30-2003 11:43
I'm not trying to halt Charlies well-intended thread, but I thought it would be appropriate to mention that our community standards have included a new section on privacy.
This portion of the privacy policy- Examples of privacy invasion in violation of SL Community Standards include: Disclosure by one resident of real-life information about another resident unless that information is listed on the Resident's profile. This includes but is not limited to gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, and real-world location.
-probably deserves a better explanation.
In short, you can reveal anything you want to about yourself. However, if you do not reveal it, and somehow it is found out through "other" means, and a resident chooses to post that information here or mention it somewhere in Second Life, then the resident who posted it is in violation of the community standards. Chances are very good that we will ban the person who revealed the information as our residents privacy is our highest priority.
Thanks for listening, please return to your regularly scheduled conversation.
-Peter

That's OK Phil, I know your age, but I'll let everyone else guess. I think I have already forgotten anyway. (I am that old... alzheimer's and everything..)
