when i open notecards in my inventory i cannot read them,the letters are in blocks please help me

The font for rendering notecards and scripts has become corrupted. This happens to me occasionally (Asus GeForce3, latest released drivers, if anyone's listening). If you log out and log back in it goes away (usually).

Ill second Wednesday's response - same thing happened to me, or I get a "...loading" message but it never appears.
Logging out and back in fixed me in both cases.

This happened to me last Friday, and they stayed that way for about three days. I don't know what finally corrected it, but I did submit a bug report with it first happened.

No, the "loading..." error is different than just not being able to view the loaded text. If your notecards load, but the text shows up as blocks, use Wednesday's suggestion.
If you notecards, scripts, or object inventories simply don't load, try reconnectiong. The Lindens apparently know about the database issue that causes this and are working on it.
