Well...this is my first attempt at making a music video in second life and am very anxious to get some feedback..both positive and negative. I would like to make a video of original music made by a fellow secondlifer if anybody is interested. Thanks everyone

Both IE and Firefox think the file is 2.9MB. It stops playing right when she is going to the balloon. Did it get truncated on the server by a failed upload or something?

Nice cinematography. I suggest trying to use the keyboard rotate/pan stuff to avoid the unevenness of the mouse. Time stretch it to make it last longer. You can also pull off a pretty good slow pan with the keys if you mess with it long enough.

Thanks Huns. Yes it was truncated or whatever you want to call it. I messed up big time. This is also my first time publishing stuff. What a noob!!! Have a new url in there but now the thing has a seperate popup for the windows media player thingy and I was able to just have it play in the browser before...and tried to do the same thing again and it didnt' work. You only seen a portion of the video. Look at it again. Much longer.
I will work on using keys to pan. I do want things smoother too. Thanks for the suggestions.

i noticed some decent choreography between music/video and a some the effects were used effectively as well.

altogther a promising first outing. my little helpful hint is to make it more ADD friendly.. heheh. i say that to point out the lack of variation in the first half.

i thought, for me, it was cool to watch.. but if i wanted to show off SL, i'd show something more revealing. so, it depends on what you're aiming for... i know you were trying to construct a mood/story in the beginning, but it came off a little too much "standing around thinking about what to do-ish".

then again, i would also like to point out that your cinematography was well done. keep at it and you'll be surprising us with better and better works.

if i was giving stars, you'd get 3 of 5.. with the forethought that one of those stars is reserved for natural improvement of talent, which we can all see is there. the other missing star is for concentrated improvement.

final synopsis: good solid work, but will look forward to even better.

Hey, I can see my sim from here! In fact, I recognized almost every location you used. Am I a geek yet?

I agree with a lot of Cybin's comments. It's a nice job and I enjoyed it. I can tell you spent a lot of time working out the shots and how to set them up, and it shows in the quality of the work. I agree you could pick up the pace some in places, keep the camera angle moving more, and it would be good to get rid of some of the SL artifacts such as the editing particles. But I won't kvetch too much cause it's a lot better than I could do! Nice work!
