It occurred to me today as I wandered around the casino in Natoma that there is nothing to prevent a player from putting up a gambling device of some kind, advertise 1 in 10 chance or whatever, but actually script it to just take money and never pay. What assurance do you have?

I can imagine the caveat emptor responses, but I'm wondering what the intended trend might be?

Yeah.. I made a couple of gambling games which were 100% honest. And by honest I mean purely luck based. But whenever people would play and not get lucky the first couple of times, it seemed like they thought it was a ripoff.

I dunno if you'll ever really be able to get around the issue of whether or not users trust you though.

Tough one, for sure.

That's funny you should ask about that. Actually Linden will have an announcement about the Casino in the near future that will mean a big change in the way it's managed.

The well is honest. But ya I guess you do have a point. If you can't win EVER on a 1\5... well rate the person neg and spread the news.
