Well I've been obsessing over what Benshees may, or may not be lately and from reading between the lines have come to the conclusion that they will be furbie-ish or perhaps tribble-like, and there also seems to be a clear implication that they might mate and produce offspring.

I could be expecting *waaaay* to much here, but my best guess would be:

1) they are furbie/tribble like creatures (function, not neccessarily appearance)
2) they have to be fed (they may poop!)
3) they will die if you dont take care of them
4) they are all the same, but have different characteristics
5) the only way to get one is to have one of the originals so....
6) the only *other* way to get them is if the orignals can mate.
7) the "kids" will inherit characteristics from the parents.

a couple more specualtive:

1) they can talk
2) they learn things to say from listening to the local chat
3) what they say can be explicitly programed as well

I dont think the Lindens would do it, but I also think it would be cool if there was no population control at all and Benshees went from being cute little buggy things, to being a world-wide infection! Sims waist deep in tribble like creatures would be hilarious! (at least until the horrible culling begins)

As for the avatar/human mating thing you mentioned there are two problems, one of which is that we are obviously some kind of cousins having the same last name and all. So any children would be idiots presumably.

The other problem I wont mention but you will get the drift if you read my in-world profile.

Well if you won it I would be pleased.

I just hope it does not go to a person who otherwise might have quit the following week or something.
It would be nice if it went to some stellar member of the community who actually wants to be a part of things as opposed to someone who just wants to "shoot stuff."

Thats the nature of a lottery though I guess.
