New Default Texture?

Is anyone else noticing this? All my default plywood cubes have become grey.

It sounds like a texture is corrupted in your cache, mate... try clearing your cache.

It would be nice though if we had the blank default texture rather than the plywood. That was cute for a few days, but not anymore.

actually i find the plywood texture more useful as the default texture. it helps find the edges of prims better than the blank texture.

Agreed. The color and the texture is easier to locate against most backgrounds, and the eyestrain after a couple of hours is less noticeable.

I agree.
At first I thought it was tacky and ugly, but I find it easier to see than a blank texture. The wood grain also makes it easier to adjust textures so they line up seamlessly.
