I think we should be able to customize the shiny texture of objects.

Like the transparency of it, texture and color. That way people who want to make really cartoony avatars could. Like for my kirby avatar-I could upload a texture of a white circle against a transparent background, make it the shiny texture, make the transparency 0 and make it a lighter pink than the rest of the body.

People could make really good comic book characters by layering the shiny textures.

LL has said they want to move to a materials texture system. "Shiny," or commonly called "Speculative" is a layer of most common materials systems.
