Dwell and other bugs

For some reason dwell has been wiped in Rose and a few other places. Kinda pisses me off this time because I spent a considerable amount of time rebuilding Rose Garden Market to add more shops and a better atmosphere for the merchants and shoppers. For those of you that might think I'm a dwelloper think again I put out a lot of time and money for this but the numbers do put you out there to get noticed and considering there were probably 30-40 people there on and off all day that hurts us small guys.

On top of all that some walkways I creted now show Eric Linden as Creator ( bug reported) and the building tools seem to be borked again...IE 89.97 bug, things resizing themselves for no particular reason, and linked items acting odd.

Don't get me wrong I love this game I just needed to vent ...Maybe I shoulda just thrown out 50 some red cubes and called em stalls.

I can honestly say though that if these things keep up I can see where a lot of people will be spending a lot less money on tiers

Oh heck, Talen. I just set up shop at Rose Garden Market yesterday (it looked so good and the price was so reasonable, couldn't pass it up!). There was a whole pack of folks there -- deservedly -- and it's a bummer your dwell total was wiped.

I just started a thread about this problem with dwell totals (over here: /111/d9/24575/1.html ), and I didn't know then that RGM had been affected too. <expletive deleted>!

Thanks Kim...Your shop looks great by the way. I don't care about the dwell money wise ..it doesn't mean anything that I get a lil money here and there . Now that the dwell is a big fat 0 no one will see it in the searches and the merchants aren't getting the traffic they should have.

Alot of places are without the actual dwell number.

But alot still do.. This was the response about the inquiry.

Well no cause not everyones missing it. Most would rather have the number that the 100$L

I found Talen's quaint little shopping village in Rose one of the cutest areas for commerce.

I *think* I got my dwell for Sunday, though it's impossible to tell for sure. Now, after having over 20 people at my place for over an hour, I have ZERO dwell. I'm not sure what the problem is, but something about dwell still seems broken. It's hard to know though, because there is no specific documentation about how dwell is supposed to work. I posted a note in Technical Issues forum asking a few important questions, but no Linden or clued-in resident has given answers.

It's really disheartening to have a great event and have your dwell showing a big fat ZERO.

You hear that Lindens? Dwell is a bug! Remove it from SL!

while I myself don't have any land worth mentioning, I hold classes on a friend's land (he can afford the land) and our dwell was 1708 yesterday before holding the class (a 90 minute class that seems highly attended). Today it's zero. meh.

Mine is at zero again today after having a good night....

So is ours Talen. Is this the "day late and dollar short" theory? I bet the Lindens are earning interest off that to.

yep happened again to a bunch of the parcels in sl including over half of the private sims...may show up again in a bit as it did last night.

I have to raise the question. On and off this month people have had 0 dwell ratings how exactly is the dwellopers incentive then arrived at when it comes time at the end of the month? I've never gotten one and doubt I ever will but I know some people who have come close to getting on the list and something like 0 dwell actually hurts those people.

Considering LL always (and I mean ALWAYS) manages to pay people the proper amount of L$ for the dwell they got, I'm certain that dwell doesn't ACTUALLY vanish, it just stops being displayed. So LL still has a perfectly accurate record of dwell somewhere.
