why is it that the residents-the people actually using the stations-cant vote for the ones we want? i would propose this: let the residents see the entries. the ones that the majority vote for becomes the vote of the people. like for station #1 (which i will win) if everybody votes for me, that would be the peoples vote. toss that in with however many lindens vote and it could be a tie breaker maybe. i say we do this for all future projects of this type. call me a kook...no. really. i like it

From: Jauani Wu then it would be a popularity contest and torley would win with a plywood cube submission. what i mean is that the winner of the peoples vote would be a majority of votes by residents. this bid becomes one vote among all the lindens votes...maybe one vote out of 30 or how ever many lindens vote.

I actualy wouldn' t mind the residents of the sim it's going to be in being able to vote on it. Since they are going to have to live with it. Such as residents of Neumogon(orwhatever) could vote for a proposal for their sim (but not others). Of course it's too late to do this *now*, but in the future I think it'd be nice for those who it's going to effect in some way being able to have some input.

Yeah, voting is great. While we're at it, we should let people vote Lindens in and out of office. Everyone knows that popular=qualified

The people who are paying for the work should make the decision. That would be, lemme think. Who was soliciting bids?

People shouldnt vote on the train stations, or any linden builds for that matter (besides the lindens) that would be bad on MANY reasons. Besides the normal forum drama it would cause.
If a player wants a public vote on the answers to THEIR RFP's then so be it.

People who lived near the stations should have a vote, or at least some input. After all, they're the ones that are going to have to have the builds in their view all the time.

Purchase land and host your own building contest. Then you can operate it any way you like.
