SL isn't like a game; anything people will pay you for counts as a job. If you're good at making things like scripts, buildings, clothing, or textures, you should be able to make quite a bit of money by making things and putting them up for sale.

If you want money fast, there's always Gaming Open Market.

In the meantime, go to a few events. Win some trivia contests. That's easy enough to do.

There is also a Money Tree somewhere! I don't have the co-ordinates as I am work but you can make a few dollars from that. Money grows back after a while so keep re-visiting.

Your better off selling items though - they don't have to be complex scripted items. People will buy unique but simple things also.

I sell some artwork that I do in RL in SL... you may have some skill that is transferable?

I've been taking a simple basic bike and customising the appearance and scripting to other peoples needs, things like that can help but try not to copy me

to see some of the customisation i do shop is based at the Metropolitan Shopping Plaza, Rose

Money Tree is in Tan .. forget exactly where. Residents 90 days old or younger may pick money from it. The money grows back every 20 minutes or so. Also, you might try louning around at my place in Tan 100,180. It pays someone at random 3-4 times per hour. It wont make you rich, but it might help.
