Catchy headline, huh? I was just wondering, in my pre-deployment way about SL. Just for topic of discussion, lets compare the DeBeers Cartel and diamond trade, with the Land Vultures(barons), and land trade inside sl! Have fun!

Well, I don't think land barons in SL have a policy of full rectal searches of all employees after work shifts.

LOL ok this has to be one of the strangest weeks in SL, ever! Thank you for such a great post. I would further add that on the current Kanye West album, there is a song called "Diamonds from Sierra Leone". The web domain for Sierra Leone is .sl - coincidence? I think not.

Heeeheee, Love the random postings, but to wander back towards target, to me seems like Debeers, and our Land Vultures in game have the same operating principal, enforced scarcity at any cost. Not only THAT, but one of the biggest Land Vultures in-game hails from England, where a big part of the DeBeers corporation operates. Conspairacy...I think NOT! |
