flying into Jessie

I was trying to fly into Jessie using my map as a guide. When I just stop flying. Just like when I hit somethng but I did not see anything so I landed at Clementina.

How do I get into Jessie? feel fee to e-mail me.

Try again. You might have hit an unrezzed building. There is no flight restrictions on Jesse, you enter as you would any other sim.

It's possible the Jessie sim was down, when a sim is down and you try to enter it, it's like hitting a wall.

Just tried again. It was like hitting a wall that you could not see. I will try agin in about 10 hours or so.

Could you see into Jessie? If you can, it's up. If you can't, it's probably down. Sims tend to come back up pretty quickly after a crash.

Also, Loki brought up a good possibility.

This has happened to me as well, and makes it hard flying in/out of Jessie. It happens around the old Jessie Wall.

I may not be getting the whole picture here, but I was looking at the world map and I remembered - you can't get into Jessie from Clementina.

If you look at the world map in the game there is an empty space between Jessie and Clementina. Each square on the map is controlled by a server. Purely blue/ocean squares are not assigned to any server so they dont exist. There is no data to describe them so they are rendered as water by the game just to make the landscape look nice. Crossing from one map square to another means connecting to a new server - sort of like loading a new website, so if there is no server there, there is nothing to connect to and you are unable to get out that way, so its as if you hit an invisible wall.
To go to Jessie from Clementina you must fly North into Taber then proceed through Welsh and Clyde, and then go South into Jessie. Visit the Bhodi Tree Art Gallery while you're at it. I built it

Hmmmm - I flew into Jessie last night in search of a friend. I saw him - waved & said hello. Then I realized that he was pointing a gun at me - I heard a loud noise and then I went numb. "OMG!! I've been hit!!" My life flashed before me as I saw a flash of light and a few moments later I woke up in my house. I'm still confused - maybe it was all just a bad dream......

Thank You for all your help. I will make note that I can not fly over water. If it was in any of the pdf files I did not see it.
someone might like to add it. Looks like I need to keep an eye out for guns too.
