When I was a newbie I bought a cool car. Then I realized I couldn't rez a car on the road. Also, the roads have large curbs, making it nearly impossible to drive onto the road. I'm wondering.. wouldn't it be great to open the roads to traffic? I know we can fly, making roads less needed, but driving around is fun too. I would even like to see each plot of land having a driveway and direct access to a road that would lead to a highway. I know that's too much to expect. Just dreaming out loud

There are afew places where you can rez a vehicle and get it on the road. When these are not available, there's always the alternative:
Rez your vehicle on a parcel next to the road. Right-click, edit - drag the vehicle to the road using the edit tools... drop it there. And there you go.

Almost all telehubs that are roadside have vehicle rezzing areas. Also check for the "cube(prim) in a red circle" icon at the top of your screen. If you see that, you cannot rez a vehicle on that property. If you dont see it, you can.
Also if you do own land next to a road, you can request that a "enterance" (remove guardrail, wall, curb, etc) be made to access the road from your property. (Use the SLLM forum or hotline to request this.)

I usually rez on the land beside the road (that allows dropping), then move the car to the road (edit it, move it)...then get in and drive... If there was dropping allowed at telehubs, and a road leading onto the main road, would be great, but a majority of the teleport you can't drop.. I would drive alot of the time to events, would be fun! (Would rather see return, then no drop..)
