So, I named my Castle Siege game a while ago when I first thought it up this past December/January. I came into Second Life as a beta tester, so you know I'm an afficionato when it comes to beta stuff in general.

Well, turns out Lineage II recently went open beta. Since I never got into the closed one, I figured I might as well give it a try now anyway.

Much to my surprise, if you check here you'll see that they have classified their clan castle takeovers as "Castle Siege".

Think I can get sued, or will this only help my game out?

if you have proof of your game using the name first, then no, you can't be sued.. and as a matter of fact, if you really wanted to, you could try to sue them..

i wouldn't suggest it, but you could.. with the whole 'rights to what you make' thing here..

Eh. 'Castle Siege' could be argued a simple term of English.

Now, what was cool was when the Half Life mod Natural Selection got to sue Fox for using the name Natural Selection in an upcoming Aliens game.
