i was looking at the billing page trying to decide what to do before tomorrow and i'm a little confused. here's what it says.....
"You'll be able to choose a different membership plan at any time - the change will become effective at your next billing date. PLEASE NOTE: any changes you make after June 23 will be billed at the standard subscription pricing."
does this mean if you get a special price plan you can keep getting the special price after it runs out but if you want to change it goes up to the regular price? or if you got like a 3 month plan would you have to pay regular price after 3 months?
thanks for the help.

Good question, sorry it is a confusing read:
If you signup for a beta price before the 23rd, your account will renew (in the case of the quarterly and annual) at the beta discount when the period comes up, indefinitely. So as a beta user you get to keep the beta discount through renewals.
However, if you (for example) sign up today for the quarterly and then after the 23rd want to switch to the annual plan, you will not be able to buy the annual plan at the beta discount. You will instead have to pay for the annual plan at whatever the pricing is at the time you would like to change.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Your first guess is the right one: If you choose a discounted plan right now, you'll get to keep that discount after launch, as long as you stick with it. If you change plans after launch, you won't get a discount on the new plan.

I presume you could cancel, but wouldn't get any money back. Which seems entirely reasonable to me.

No Torrid as long as you scrape it together by the 30th you'll get locked into the beta discount as long as you stay with SL. If you leave and come back or switch payment plans you will lose the discount though! Good Luck us almight lifers want you all to make it in! lol JV

A clarification here: the $9.95/month price is only good for the first month, as stated on the line for that choice. After that you go to the regular price. The other options aren't this way - you get to keep the special pricing on renewals of Quarterly and Annual subscriptions.
Note that you can switch to any other plan w/ full beta discount through the 30th, even if you've already paid for a membership. So, if you've already chosen Monthly (and paid for the first month at $9.95), and you don't want to go up to the higher price next month, you can switch to something else without being charged again. When your account comes up for renewal, we'll start billing you at the new rate you've chosen. Hope this makes sense.
