When defending a certain incumbent's campaign commercials including shots of 9/11, some people remind us that it's fine for him to exploit ...er... refer to this disaster because it was a defining moment in his presidency.

They're correct. I think it's very important to remember whenever you see those ads: thousands of innocent people died on his watch - and he's proud.

Bah... Bush is a puppet of a group of powerful people who use religion and nationalism as fronts and smokescreens to obscure the fact that they're really just there to exploit their powerful positions to give kickbacks and unfair advantages to industries they have a personal stake in.

My motto for the way these kind of people think? "Grab what you can, everything else be damned."

BTW: I'm not strongly affliated to any party in particular. I appreciate some of the ideals from both of the major parties (as well as some of the indepenents), and I think the best course of action is compromise between all of them.

Of course he is. He wants to remind us why we are at war and invoke fear so we vote for him to protect us.

Problem is, that ISNT why we are at war.
Now is the time for his smoke & mirror reelection campain.

Note: Notice we arent hearing much about Haliburton facing criminal charges. There are also reports that Osama bin Laden was captured and is being held until it is politically convenient for Bush (we all have to wait & see on this one).

Meanwhile we fall into the biggest defict in history while he backs away from his own promise of jobs and reclassifies low paying fast food jobs to "manufacturing jobs" to hide losses in that sector.

We are told that this spending spree is for the military and we are anti American if we don't support our troops yet the troops are getting sub par food service (see Haliburton link above) and here at home Bush cut the pay of service members and the healthcare of Veterans.

Bush did not win the election by popular vote. Expect his administration to do some serious smoke blowing this campain. His re election campain has already raised $150M to Kerrys 9M (mostly spent in the primaries).

It makes me sick to my stomach when I hear Bush say over and over again "I'm a war president." He always says it with this kind of smug self satisfaction, like he has visions of his amazing legacy being deified in future history books. I don't know why anyone's surprised that he's exploiting 9/11. He's been doing it since 9/11.

I predict that the Bush theocracy will end in a landslide.
