to be dancing at the Edge in hopes of winning a contest while this country is getting into more trouble day by day?

Simply curious.

note: you can just reply 'yes' or 'no' . :-)

Nope, don't go to The Edge. I refuse to donate my time and dwell to a place like that lmao.

Well, given that I've never been to The Edge, I'd have to reply with a qualified "no." I get your meaning, but here's another way to look at it.

Where else can you interact this deeply with representatives from so many other countries, cultures and traditions? I see SL as the ideal venue in which goodwill ambassadors can and should take up residence.

Maybe we're not directly solving the hunger problem in Nigeria, but we are building cultural bridges that, for all we know, will provide the framework for future peace treaties...it could happen.

People play games in bomb shelters, foxholes, hospitals and refugee camps. Even animals, faced with a deadly daily ritual of survival, take time to play. It's not an abdication of responsibility; rather, it helps refresh our brains to better cope with our struggles.

No, I don't feel guilty at all.

I don't like the Edge as well

I meant clubs/tringos/slingos/whatever in general, by the way :-)

Btw2: Thanks for opening my eyes :)

Hey now, there's an idea... give all the world leaders free accounts, put 'em all in world at once, and see how they interact. Maybe hilarity would ensue, they'd all learn to get along and work together to overcome griefers or whatnot, and it'd be a step towards world peace. :)

Press Release - The first Virtual International Summit of World Leaders in Second Life was disrupted today when President George W. Bush discovered that the attractive Asian woman he was privately 'conversing' with was in fact North Korean President Kim Jung-Il. "OMG!" the President was quoted as saying. "THIS IS TEH SUXXOR!" He then attempted to run Kim over with his virtual bicycle.

No, it wasn't his bicycle. Georgie was playing Gimp Factor and ran him over with his wheel chair. Footage at 11:00:
