Player lobby groups?
Regulations?
Open rebellion man.
People need to know what participatory culture is.
This isn't class/economic strife. This isn't capitalism vs. communism.
This is simply a resistance to undue influence.
I participate, therefore I am.
We don't need a bunch of players forming some lobby group to institute regulations and policies and all that bs.
This thread is a middle finger for any lobby group who thinks they need to represent the best interest of something don't even understand and people they don't even know.

Paper-trail: /120/e2/59836/1.html I would like to state as a representative of Tyrell that we wont be spearheading any massive political or social changes or "revivals" in SL at this point. We are and always have been an independent and self sufficient entity within SL. Generally, Tyrell does not believe that there is room in SL for single entiities, whether groups or individuals, to either arbitrate, vote, or lobby for policies, regulations or limitations on residents. I believe I speak for the rest of TC, when I say that we support this campaign of middle finger waving at those who would seek dominion over people who have never asked nor indeed required a "ruling body". And to you, tiny lords, I can say only that you are neither original nor first. Nor are you more adept than your predecessors in your attmepts to sieze authority that is not granted to you by those you would rule.
