Beta hours of operation

Hey just a quick question. What are the current hours of operation for the beta? I logged on for the first time around 12 AM PST, and it let me in. After that I read, I think it was in the user guide that the hours are 1 - 10 PM PST. Is it ok to log in any time just as long as the server accepts your login? I don't want to be logging when I am not suppossed to, hehe  By the way, from what I have seen so far, I am very impressed. Quite an amazing acomplishment! |

So it looks like I'm not the only one who was sneaking around during the off-hours.... I'm afraid you're going to get the same wrist slap that I got yesterday. The hours are actually only from 4pm PST to 10pm PST. And now that you've turned yourself in I don't think you'll need to worry about your stealthy prowling. You'll get the 'Invalid Login' soon.

I don't think the hours are hard and fast. I've been in world early morning (est -5, pst -  and late night. just make sure you save often in case the servers do die. |

Hours are from 4:00 to 10:00pst.
No wrist slapping at all, other than my own.
For the record, I try to set those time limits for everyone, but as the user tool that does this requires manual input, there is still room for human (read: mine) error.
Should be hard and fast for everyone. Celerity, have you been able to do this recently? Our logs say otherwise.

Lindens,
Are there any plans to expand the hours during which us Beta testers can login in the future? And if so, is there a specific date when we can expect to get extended hours? I figure as the project moves more towards testing instead of ongoing development, and as the final release gets closer, it would make sense to have more time in game. Plus I would love to have more time to play, I have more scripts written down on paper then I have time to type up and debug in one session, not to mention building and experimenting. Of course you guys obviously have way more coding/debuging work to do than I do with my little scripts, and I think it's great that we can use SL at all at this stage, but if the world revolved around me, the more time the better.

I vote for extended hours as well -- preferably earlier ones (even opening an hour or two earlier would be terrific!) because my son tends to want more of my undivided attention in the evening than earlier in the day.

This world my revolve around you Shebang, but the SL world most definitely revolves around me.  I vote for later hours, I have evening classes until 6pm PST, and I'm a night person, so I want it open all night long, hehe. -Pat Murphy
