If only. . . But 'dating myself' is a whooooole other thread. :D

As to placing myself in an era, yep. I am glad to see we are both big (old?) enough to admit it. :)

I did some extensive research on a super-secret web site that only I know about, and found a disturbing trend in blaze's poll count per day.

This was such an intriguing question, I decided to do the math.

blaze will not be able to post until the Sun completely burns out, because the sun will turn into a red giant and consume the earth long before then. All we need to do is calculate the number up to that point.

So let's run the numbers: The sun will turn into a red giant in approx. 5,000,000,000 years. That's 1,826,250,000,000 days, give or take a few hundred million. So far, blaze averages 10.87 posts per day, so if we assume a continuous rate, there will be roughly 19,851,337,500,000 blazeposts between now and the end of the world. Assuming 90% of all blazeposts are questions, that works out to exactly 17,866,203,750,000.

If all my assumptions are correct.

How much time before most people who post on these forums realize that blaze's posts are a subroutine of privately-available software from a developer named Satyricon, Ltd. - the purpose of which is to create burlesque, by generating needless responses and dramatic reaction to artificial and ridiculous scenarios?

Wow, that was a lot of posts on the SL forums in 1996! I found a disturbing trend that panda knows of a super-secret website.

And just because sometimes you have to say things like this on these forums, I trust that blaze knows that this post was in jovial good humor.
