Ok so early today I decided to do the free Basic Access thing. Then I sign up my account, and it says it billed $9.95. I thought you werent supposed to be billed?

It might be a good idea to give Linden Lab a call at 1-800-860-6990 (if you're in the U.S.) to straighten out your billing problems. Or send an email to [email]billing@secondlife.com[/email].
(Edit: I also believe that if there are any other Second Life accounts tied to the credit card you used when you signed up for the free account, it won't let you have a free one.)
