I'm starting a seperate thread so as not to continue to hijack the other one in progress.

From: me
Honestly, this is a good example of things I would like to see people have the self-restraint to take to another thread...like the Rants forum

From: Prokofy Neva

Yeah, I agree. I'd never bring personal stuff like this into forums UNLESS I WAS ATTACKED FIRST AND HAD TO DEFEND MY GOOD NAME.

You may find "defending my good name" a total crashing bore and may even believe it only worsens my "good name". Too bad! this individual *has to be stopped* in this project of constantly chasing around to my clients and bad-mouthing me and slandering me. It's really insidious and difficult to fight unless you take it to the forums to set the record straight, so at least you can give somebody a thread link to see what's what if they ask or are concerned. Trust me, AR's do little good but are worth filing because they help you illustrate the pattern if the behaviour persists, then you have a colletion of ARs and action is taken.

There are a few points I would like to further discuss:

1. Traxx never mentioned you by name. In fact, I had no idea he was speaking about you until you posted your defense of yourself. I do grant you, he posted that anyone interested in the conflict he was referring to could find out more by looking at his inworld profile. He didn't post it in the forums, he didn't hijack the thread with the complete reiteration of the conflict, because that's not what the thread is about. He mentioned it in passing as reason for the way he felt about rating forum posts.

2. If you feel he attacked you, I would like to ask if you don't believe that proper ettiquette in this case would be to start your own thread about it. Put yourself in the position of the thread creator; how would you feel if you started a thread to discuss topic A, and a few people brought their own conflict into the thread - said conflict having nothing to do with the topic on hand? Its simple courtesy.

I don't believe in censorship. I haven't put you on ignore, and if I did I wouldn't lord it over you. I would, however, like to discuss with you in a civil fashion these two points. I find you have great insight when it comes to certain topics - such as land ownership, etc., arenas you have a lot of valuable experience in. However, it is taxing for many people to seperate the wheat in your posts from the chaff.

I will be returning in about an hour to the forums, so if I do not reply before then, please don't feel slighted - I have a long commute.

Thanks for your time.

Well, duh, I realize that. I didn't have to confirm what 99 percent of the readers already knew, but I did, and I went one better, and outed that malicious thing he did not his lot, listing a list of avs on his ban list with "these are all one perosn" written on the profile, which, for those of you watching at home, also has a ridiculous psychobabble screed directed against me (so see my profile's answer).

I don't know if you read the thread called "White Tower of Death in the New World" -- it's a helpful program notes to this drama.

You should realize some more context here: Traxx posted loads of tripe about me in other threads, as did chad statosky, and I rebutted them every one. It led to the inevitable flame. I then asked them for a written pledge to cease their slander of me and raising of personal beefs in the forums. An officer of Nexcom then negotiated a contract, which I negotiated in good faith. He drafted a text which I then signed. THe CEO then forged Traxx's signature and returned the card through a maniuplation to force my compliance. I removed all my posts by that time as that was part of the agreement.

Furthermore, I was maliciously attacked with an officer recall -- really over the top griefing activity, you have no idea.

So, what I'm going to let Traxx Hathor one up me in the forums by insinuating these lies again? No fucking way. I will show up at every single thread to stamp out those fires, and the best way to do that is simply to expose, in detail, what he did, and to point out that if he thinks he can intimidate me through tactics like putting all my alts on his land ban list and then saying "this is all one person" when Prokofy Neva is in the list -- well, he's wrong -- because I'm not scared, and not fazed. I don't make new alts to get around his silly land bans, who is going to waste time on that???. But I just expose the details of the blackmail because he cannot force me out of the game, as is his intention, for personal reasons.

I'm sorry if it's a ll a big bore and a hijack, but honestly, you have no recourse in this game when someone decides they need to demolish you and force you from the game. You have to fight back in every way you can. I think a useful way is by exposing bad behaviour publicly.

BTW I've offered a number of times for any 3-person panel of respected persons to get together, hear the facts of this case of slander, and render a judgement. I have yet to get a serious offer. Take it up yourself if you like.

The thread creator is merely creating a thread to devise a means to eliminate me from the forums, not really deal with some generic "forum problem" at all -- that's clear. Not unsimilar to Traxx's desire to eliminate me from the game. What you need to do in those cases is either ignore them if you don't have the time, or take the time to fight back methodically. I chose to do the latter. It seems required. Trust me, if I didn't exist and didn't post here, we'd see no such thread starter. Traxx is merely currying favor again with oldbies and FIC by sucking up to them in a forum to burnish his rep. It's pretty transparent, even to them LOL.

I can't start a new thread about it because it is against the TOS to start named threads or polls about individuals. But what is happening here is that 2 individuals are skirting that TOS violation by starting a thread that is about me (and only secondarily about blaze). So it has to be stood up to.

Then use your mouse wheel to scroll further. I can only say two words to anyone who has a problem with my posts: MOUSE WHEEL.

Let me also respond to the generic issue of whether it is appropriate to be manipulative/faux "therapeutic" to somone on a forum by gesturing them into another thread to "vent" and then thinking you "got rid of them" and "took care' of them.

Uh-uh.

I'll continue in that thread as I please. Especially because it was started for no good reason, but just directed at me in a kind of witch hunt or something. This isn't victimology, but self-evident.

And I want to remind you that if you have a well-wish, it goes up in "Notices". If you find yourself making a thread with a person'a name in it, or a poll, that isn't a well-wish, then that's a very good sign that what you are doing is going to be a TOS violation.

BTW, since you opened up a little "room" here let me note that I *finally* sold your water. Yeesh, that took forever. Yuck. I had to sell it for exactly what I paid you, even after carrying the tier all those weeks. That area just never got better, it only got worse. I hope you remember what the scrap land dealer Prokofy Neva did for you in taking that off your hands when you needed it done. Of course, I'm glad to have the boat house, it's great. You're quite talented. I hope to make a boatyard with that in it.
