I've noticed some threads, usually started by a Linden, always stay at the top of the forum message list. I think these are called "Stickies". How do I request/get a sticky for a thread?

The Lindens tend to only stick very important threads / reminders... like the constant ones reminding people to not be idiots. That's why you see people sometimes shamelessly bumping their threads with replies to get more attention.  -Flip

Go to the store..buy a large squeeze tube of honey, or chocolate syrup if you prefer...then head to the bank and withdraw a few hundred $. Next you can take a few different approaches. Either take your spouse or gf/bf out for a nice dinner and make sure they drink alot, or, if you don't have a spouse or gf/bf, you can cruise to the redlight district of your town or city and purchase the services of a hooker, or you can head to a local strip joint....
Once you are hooked up with the intimate companion of your choice, you simply hand them the sticky substance, with a possible well, or crudely worded suggestion, depending on the companion, and the rest should come unnaturally...

Hi Pietro.
You can request a moderator add a sticky to a forum. In order for such a request to be granted the information in the sticky would need to be something important to have available for forum users at all times, such as the forum descriptions. One example of a proposed sticky that might have a chance at getting accepted would be a sticky for the design forum that discusses how to use alpha textures. It might be a good idea to post a proposed wording for a potential sticky to be worked on by the forum users.
If you have information of general interest and utility you would like to make available for use by others you can enter the information directly in into the Second Life Help wiki at secondlife.com/help. If the wiki editing process is not your cup of tea you could ask someone to enter the information for you.
