Ugh, so I am trying to figure out the problem with payouts and vote boxes... I end up losing all my votes after playing with the vote box at my land. Someone mentioned version 1.3 so hmm yeh, I have 0 votes now. I guess I should have left it be before cause payouts isn't worth the bonus I will lose after having my votes reset :(
On a similar note, feel free to visit my place in Tehama 120, 120. It's still somewhat unfinished (I was waiting for bonuses and stipend so I can shop for furniture)
Vote if you like the place or what I've done so far :)

I'm not sure I understand this statement. By bonus do you mean your bonus each week that gets added to your stipend? If so, vote booth count does not effect this, to my knowledge.

you should be able to move your vote box around in edit mode all you want without losing votes. as far as i've seen you only reset it if you pick it up and rez it again cause it's really a totally new copy of the object.

I had to ride my good vote booth over to my new property a few weeks ago. This seems like the only way the vote machine will be able to keep the total votes inside it.

Hmm okay I didn't know votes didn't count towards stipend bonus... I had this problem once before where I lost votes on one of my boxes and my bonus suddenly dropped over 1k. I thought this was the cause :D

your stipend bonus varies day to day cause it's a measure of how you're doing compared to everyone else. if you get a lot of good ratings and stuff in one day your bonus will go up. if you hang out at home and growl at people the next day it will go down. and it depends on whether other people are running around being friendly or staying at home growling too. of course this makes it hard to predict :)

*makes note to self to change hang out and home and growl behavior*

I had heard that moving voting boxes reset them too. Is this DEFINITELY not the case?

version 1.2 boxes have a low threshold for moving them, ie none.

version 1.3 has some threshold I think, but it is significantly larger and I don't know what it is.
